Welcome to 12 days of Blogmas, day Eleven & the penultimate post of Blogmas.
As you may or may not know, if you don’t have little people, there are loads of children’s centres all around towns and cities that run classes and groups, free of charge, for you to take babies, toddlers and slightly older children too. They do from health visitor weigh ins, craft and messy play groups, as well as baby sensory, singing and lots more.
I tried with both my boys to go to these groups if I could as they are free and so good for them to socialise with other babies and to develop more, but now that my older sister has a little girl too we have been going to even more groups as we have gone together, which I much prefer to going on my own. We have been to a messy play group that the boys especially love and there is a new singing and story group in the new year that we are going to try as well, but my sister noticed that they were doing a Christmas party for parents and there kids to come to with festive activities and even a visit from Santa, so we decided this could be really fun for them and a nice festive activity too, so we popped our names down.
They had loads of activities for them to do, lots of Christmas painting and crafts, biscuit decorating, reindeer food making and a baby sensory area. These went on until around half 2 then they tidied some away and brought out a snack for everyone. Orange segments and raisins for the kiddies and a mince pie for the adults.
Then everyone sang some Christmas songs before the big man himself was ready to see everyone. Casey & Evie-mae met Father Christmas, Noah however wasn’t so kean, overall though it was a fun, Christmas filled afternoon that they all enjoyed!
Until next time
